The Email Marketing Specialist should be able to work closely with the rest of the marketing team on email campaigns and cross-channel promotions. Reporting into the Content Marketing Manager, the individual should be:
· An expert in email marketing best practices who’s aware of international and regional regulations, and should be able to create and execute an email marketing roadmap every month.
· Able to create drip campaigns, one-off marketing campaigns, newsletters, plain text emails, announcements, and more.
· Able to align email marketing campaigns with overall marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
· Proficient in analyzing data and making decisions based on user actions, size of the database, ISP complaints, percentage of the database that’s engaged with us, and more.
· Knowledgeable about CRM, data segmentation, and subscription-based marketing is a plus
Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Establishing a monthly roadmap for email marketing in line with the general and content marketing strategy
· Creating engaging content for and executing multiple email drip campaigns to build trust and brand authority
- Constructing the email marketing roadmap to grow email lists and effectively communicate with audiences
- Planning and running email marketing campaigns to promote our IT training programs and other products
- Ensuring the data list is segmented and updated properly in alignment with all departmental approval
- Reporting Weekly/Bi-weekly email marketing metrices to the heads of the marketing department and as needed to the management
- Building and designing email templates and link-appropriate landing pages
- Analyzing campaign performance and suggesting improvements
- Staying updated on industry, email marketing trends, and emerging technologies to ensure the company’s email marketing strategies are innovative and effective
- Emails follow industry policies and best practices
Minimum Qualifications:
Education - Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge and Experience
Email Marketing
· Minimum 3 years of work experience in email marketing
· Proven work experienceas an email marketer
· Should be a problem solver and a quick learner
· Proficiency in marketing automation technology
· Proficiency in using email marketing tools and platforms, such as MailChimp; DotDigital experience is a plus
· Proficiency or willingness to learn new tools (e.g., SEMrush, Jira)
· Experience with conducting and integrating audience and buyer persona research into campaigns
· Basic Knowledge of CRM 365 Dynamics, SharePoint
· Understanding of analytical (i.e., Google Analytics) and database tools
· Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
· Familiarity with the IT and EdTech industry is a plus
